On August 1, 2023, County Commissioner Nina Melker of Mercer County came to the Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, New Jersey. Commissioner Melker, a dedicated public servant committed to community development and unity, had an opportunity to tour the complex, interact with the volunteers, and learn about Akshardham’s numerous community initiatives.
Reflecting on her visit, Commissioner Melker recognized the spirit of service embodied in every aspect of Akshardham, stating, “When you walk through the building, what you see is service… it shows how important community is.” She also shared her experience of peace at the complex, adding, “Akshardham brings peace.”
